11A – Idea Napkin #1
1)
You:
My name is Maria Bucci, I transferred to UF
on Fall 2018, I am a General Business Studies major, with a specialization on
Mass Communication. I believe that my greatest quality is that I am an applied
and focused person, when I set out to achieve something I do everything in my
power to achieve my goal. My biggest aspiration is to continue with my family's
business and make it grow even more and that is why I decided to take this
class
2)
What are you offering to customers?
for the project that I have been talking
about the last assignments, I offer students and workers in the university a
greater facility when transporting, extending the working hours and improving
the app of the RTS bus system
3)
Who are you offering it to?
For this idea of extending the transport
hours of the RTS bus system, all people who use public transport would benefit.
In my idea, I initially started offering it to only students, then I realized
that university workers could also take advantage of this opportunity, and even
any Gainesville resident who does not own their own vehicle.
However,
there are people who are out of my target market, anyone who owns their own
vehicle will prefer to use it before public transport, however, as I said in
previous assignments there are students who have their car or scooter but due
to the lack of parking they prefer to use the bus
4)
Why
do they care?
I think that this option would be of value for
anyone who requires transportation after the hours that the RTS system works,
that is, this would give ease and safety for all people who requires public
transportation
5)
What are your core competencies?
My biggest
challenge would be that the university and the city of Gainesville accept the payment of more staff (since it could be
added a night shift) or extra work hours to drivers in order to meet this need
Evaluation:
I believe that all these elements make sense together. Since
the university pays part of the RTS bus system, It would be possible to pay
extra for more of operation of the bus system, this will help students and
workers who stay until late hours at the university.
