8A- SOLVING THE PROBLEM

My opportunity talks about improving the RTS system schedule, specifically extending the hours of the buses (at least two more hours) because most of the buses stop working at 6 p.m. While doing the interviews I realized there are other issues about the RTS system, such as the app.

So, my idea is to create a plan in which the buses that passes through campus extend their schedules for at least two hours (until 8 p.m.) and ideally until 10 p.m. which is when is the last period of class at the University of Florida. I say ideally because it is very unlikely to extend the schedule 4 hours, it is easier to start for 2 hours which would be very helpful. We, as UF students pay a transportation fee as part of our tuition, so I feel this will be very helpful for every student who struggles with transportation after their classes

On the other side for the improvement of the app, I propose an update of the app, to improve the system and to really tell the correct time that the bus will pass and to be much more accurate saying where the bus is, this will avoid many delays of students to classes or meetings.
