14A- HALFWAY REFLECTION
1.
Tenaciousness is a competency.
I think a very important quality you need for this course is
organization, in order to keep with your work, submit assignments on time, and
watch lectures… You must manage your time wisely and really concentrate while
doing the assignments. Because maybe an assignment will not require to take
much time, but if you don’t concentrate you can lose the whole morning doing
it. So, for sure, you need organization and time management.
2.
Tenaciousness is also about attitude.
I felt like giving up on two assignments, the elevator pitch
one, because I am an international student and my first language is not English,
so I didn’t feel comfortable speaking in front of a camera and explaining my
idea because of my accent. And the second assignment was the one of the reading
reflection, the book I chose was way too long, but it was worth it, it was easy
to read and very interesting. What pulled me through was thinking I can do
that, I felt overwhelmed at the beginning of the book but then I realized how
interesting it was and it was fast to read.
3.
Three tips.
·
Never wait until the last day to do your
assignments. You can work on them through the weekends or week days on any
space available you have.
·
Be sure to submit the URL of your blog and then
declare, when you declare be sure you accomplished everything they tell you on
your assignment. Super important!
·
Watch lecture videos, they are fun and cupcake
questions come from the lecture.
